I had the absolute pleasure of joining my good friend, Dominy Roe, on her inspiring podcast, ‘The Path to Power’. As a long time listener, I was honored to be invited on as a guest recently. Dominy created this podcast to share the stories of inspiring men and women who are using their pain and turning it into their power. Each episode of the podcast (now in its third season!) explores ways to go on a path of healing and how we can become our most powerful selves. This season she has focussed on transformation and she guided me through an incredible interview exploring my own ‘Path to Power’. I may be biased but she is truly one of the most magical beings on this planet and the work she is doing is so important! It is an incredible privilege to be a part of it and to share it here for you all.
Dominy has a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential, and offers her expertise through coaching, programs and tools to take radical responsibility, develop healing and healthy habits, and create your personal power.
In our conversation, we discuss:
- Making a difference in the fashion industry and the world our children are growing up to inherit
- Supporting women in leadership and business
- The start of The Simple Folk and our why
- Our path to gentle parenting
- Setting ourselves up to be as healthy as possible
- Successful marriage, building safe & secure relationships and navigating challenges together
- Femininity & redefining gender roles
- Building a business and starting the entrepreneurial journey
A gentle note of caution: we very lightly touch on pregnancy loss at the start before 2:10, from 31:44 to 32:12 and between 42:22 to 42:47. If this feels uncomfortable for you in any way, you might prefer to skip this part of the conversation.
